If you are new blogger, there are some things you need to know.

Online businesses, blogs, and courses are booming businesses and YOU CAN be a part of it. But here is what you need to remember:

It is not going to happen overnight. It probably isn’t going to happen in the next few months.

You can do everything you think a successful blogger does, but you will not get the success they have. In fact, that is how most people start off. They make carbon copies of a major blogger’s pages and then expect to have sales just come to them.

The truth is that you are going to have to do ten times more work than you even think right now. You need to have a checklist and make sure your SEO is on point and that your images look good. You need to constantly be promoting yourself on Pinterest and Facebook and other forums.

You can have all of this and STILL not be as successful as you thought you would be.

Because it is what you don’t see that other bloggers are doing that makes a difference. You don’t know how much money they are spending to promote their pins or to rank on Google. When you read income reports, it’s funny how they don’t tell you how much they spend on advertising and where.

Why am I saying this?

So it doesn’t surprise you.

The process may not be easy, and there may be some shitty times, but if you stick through it and trust the process… success will eventually come to you.

As a new blogger, you need to stay in learning mode. Read all the books you can. Write up notes on each book and review it occasionally. Like what someone is doing? Take a screenshot or write it down.

You need to treat this blog as a business. You can call it a hobby, but if you do, then that is all it will ever be.

Businesses make money.

Businesses have plans, strategies, customer profiles/avatars, and schedules.

I challenge you to create this for your blog and carry it out. Set goals and plan out the next four months. The growth you see will be exponential compared to if you just casually play around on WordPress and take three days to pick a theme and not create a diligent schedule for creating content.

I can help you with this if you want. Download my Blog Planning Printables today to start working out your business plan. Let’s get that passive income coming your way!
